Three year FCT Owner-Operator Steve Heffelfinger is featured in the 2015 PKY Truck Beauty Championship which was hosted this past April at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY.  His entry number is 705 in the New Truck Bobtail category.  We are pretty fond of the Peterbilt glider kits from Fitzgerald here at First Class and this is another great example of why.  Well done, Steve!

Hum Of The Engine Keeps Trucker David Miller Humming, Hoping His Granddaughter Might Follow In His Footsteps

Our very own David Miller spoke with Aprille Hanson, formerly of the Trucker, for the December 15-31 issue (vol. 27, no. 24).  The article covers a lot of ground:  from his thoughts on equipment and hours of service to his granddaughter and his start in trucking.  It’s an excellent article about one of our favorite new drivers.  Check it out.

Twenty Five Years

In September of 1989, John Fondriest, Eric Kimble and Eli Stutzman started First Class Transport, Inc. on a back porch in Dover, Ohio.  Twenty five years later, the hard work of our employees, contractors and partners has produced steady growth and our commitment to safety and service continues to win over customers.

In celebration, we’ve combed through our archives to create the gallery below, covering the entire history of First Class Transport, Inc. up to the present day.  We look forward to pursuing and exceeding our goals of top-to-bottom safety and exceptional service to our customers and partners long into the future.  We hope you can come along.

See Our Recently Completed Expansion

In May of 2013, we started construction of an expansion to our terminal.  The plan for this area was a spacious conference room and some additional storage.  We completed all construction and interior work by October, just in time for our Safety Meeting in November. This new space will aid our continuing growth by adding to our capacity to train and work with our employees and partners.  It also modernizes our ability to use and present current media, which will help us keep up as the industry continues to change.
